Make innovation real
with STARTUP AUTOBAHN KOREA
Startup Autobahn Korea
The Startup Autobahn is a global open innovation platform founded
by Daimler AG in 2016 to discover and cooperate with promising startups.
The Startup Autobahn, launched in Germany,
has scouted more than 5,500 startups worldwide and carried out pilot projects in various areas,
such as IT and artificial intelligence (AI).
In 2020, Korea became the seventh country to host the event,
following countries like the U.S., China and India.
This project will be co-hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS),
with support from Seoul Startup Hub, the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED),
the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) and N15.
It will provide participating startups with a wide variety of nurturing programs and
customized collaboration opportunities. In particular,
this year’s event is expected to give participating startups substantial growth momentum for
their new businesses and ideas since it will newly provide opportunities of communication with partner companies,
in addition to expert mentors.
The Startup Autobahn Korea supports joint development and execution through collaboration with partner companies in
various fields such as future mobility,
digital transformation, and sustainability.
Outstanding teams will also be provided with benefits that
allow them to discuss opportunities to commercialize their products directly with Daimler AG.
